Knowledge & Digital Asset Management

Managing and cataloging intellectual property and digital assets is a consistent challenge in most organizations. Plexcore provides two methods to successfully manage a wide range of digital assets ranging from text to video. These are the Media Library in the Content Management module and a more robust solution in the Knowledge & Digital Asset Module.

KDAM gives you the capability to develop a digital warehouse. Property in the warehouse can be categorized by Major Category, Category and Sub-category. Each asset can be identified in 16 different ways. This is the case whether the asset is resident in the Excelerator database, or linked from an external database.

The descriptive data attached to each asset is important when searching through a large quantity of assets in multiple categories. To quickly find the information your pursuing you can perform a search in 3-ways; simple, advanced and full document text.

In a family of websites, the knowledgebase index can be made availabe to all users at the master site as well as all sub-sites, so information doesn't have to be entered more then one time.
