The Plexcore Excelerator suite runs on Windows Server with MS SQL. This configuration was chosen to expediate and simplify customer-specific and base system upgrades and adaptations, which are developed in ASP or .NET and connected directly into the main database to quickly process and deliver vital information and reports. The costs associated with maintaining hardware and software on the Microsoft platform are less than alternative systems that initially give the appearance of being less expensive. 

No client downloads or 3rd party installations are required. All tools are installed server-side and are 100% browser-based. This includes all administration, management, and content development tools. The content display is browser independent, so regardless of which browser a visitor uses, your web site's page design and information will display properly.
